Job description



We are currently seeking highly qualified researchers to help shape the work in Information Services at HP Labs, particularly in content analysis and data mining. Example areas include (but are not limited to) classification, similarity analysis, clustering, feature selection, search, intrinsic content references, data security, compliance management and governance, data synchronization, archiving, information lifecycle management, text mining, novel information processing and extraction methods and related areas.



Must: 
Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, information technology, engineering, math, etc.)
 Excellent research and programming skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to generate, frame, and carry out leadership research (for example, through publication record at top conferences or journals, and through impact of work)
