HTML Developer, E-Commerce
Position Responsibilities:


Create new, and edit existing, HTML promotional e-mails supported across all e-mail applications.
Create new, and edit existing, HTML code embedded within ASP and ASP.net pages to support maximum page efficiency and optimum user experience. This position is responsible for graphic production and optimization of creative components, supporting marketing messages, using Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks and Flash to retain visual integrity.



Verify content and formatting in multiple browsers and platforms for quality assurance including Spam testing e-mail messages. This position is responsible for supporting pages being in compliance with the Coldwater Creek style guide. Participate in page deployment to the production environment.



Form strong partnerships with creative and development peers to generate synergistic outcomes.



Maintain a high level of awareness of the on-line market place from an HTML/UI perspective to ensure Coldwater Creek remains relevant and competitive.



Position Requirements:

Able to write and troubleshoot HTML code without the assistance of a WYSIWYG editor.
Strong knowledge of W3C Standards required.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, XSLT/XML and JavaScript a must.
Working knowledge of Flash, Video and AJAX preferred.
Reliable cross browser platform code in a clean and consistent manner, with proper supporting communication/documentation as necessary.
Maintain a high level of awareness for user experience standards and the implications of HTML/design updates or modifications.
Validate and ensure project accuracy and completeness.
Standardize and maintain CWC.com style sheet in conjunction with Design Manager.
Excellent written, proof-reading and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and management skills a MUST.
