This position is for the world's largest software company, headquartered in Redmond, Washington.

Position Description - The candidate will perform a variety of electronic design projects as a part of a small development team. She/he will be responsible for design specification development, electronic design, design documentation, system integration activities, design for test, and design for EMC compliance. The candidate will work with vendors, expert staff, and program management to identify risks, manage schedules, prevent problems, and create effective, testable, and regulatory compliant designs. She/he will own the design from specification through schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout, debug and system integration, and introduction into manufacturing. Candidate may need to segment tasks and manage outsource development resources to balance load. The candidate must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have proven track record of shipping high quality products and making smart decisions that assume appropriate risk. She/he demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, has excellent organization and communication skills, enjoys learning, can effectively bring solutions to difficult problems, and has great attention to detail. -

Qualifications -

4 years+ experience as an Electrical Engineer designing high speed (200 MHz+) 32 bit processor systems, microcontroller based systems, analog circuitry, power regulation, implementing designs for test, EMC compliance and manufacturing and be capable of selecting and integrating complex components into cost effective large scale manufacturable consumer products.

Work as part of a team or as key engineer having successfully delivered 3 or more projects as part of a cross-functional team.

Experience with PC based schematic capture and signal integrity analysis tools (Cadence and SiSoft, respectively, preferred)

Experience with PCB layout

Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communications

Knowledge of important imaging system parameters such as system dynamic range, resolution, and sensor electrical interface requirements. Education A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related degree with relevant experience
