RESPONSIBILITIES:Resolve and track client support issues. Contacts clients in a proactive manner to ensure high level client satisfaction. Understand the Application Hosting Service Level Agreements and help to ensure these key indicators are consistently met. Work off shift and weekends as required. Assist as needed on projects directly related to the improvement of the Application Hosting team and in providing additional and improved services to our clients. Document and assist with development and implementation of process design. Work as part of a team to accomplish client goals. Work closely with the Global Consulting Group to develop post implementation support. Complete projects that contribute to the success of the Hosted Solutions team.

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:   Bachelor Degree plus 2-4 years experience.Ability to set and manage client expectations. Previous consulting, client support, or related computer support experience. Ability to replicate, diagnose, and resolve software and scripting issues (including Perl or SQL scripting). Familiarity with database maintenance, structures, operations. Experience supporting applications - proprietary software or COTS. Familiarity with major operating systems such as Microsoft Windows NT, and any UNIX platform including Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, HP UX and Linux. Familiarity with DOS and SQL database commands and operations. Understanding of file types, functions and purposes. Understanding of technology and technical strategies. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Well organized and able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to carry a beeper and provide support outside of scheduled hours. Good written and interpersonal communications skills. Strong troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with supply chain management principles. Must be able to set and manage client expectations. Must be able to complete projects that contribute to the success of the Hosted Solutions team. Familiarity with major vendor Enterprise Systems Management software suites such as IBM's Tivoli, HP's Open View or CA's Unicenter TNG.
