Since our inception in 1997, we have grown steadily to become one of the world?s largest domain name registrars. eNom is a subsidiary of Demand Media, Inc., a Los Angeles-based next generation media is a newly formed company backed with a $120mm in capital from top tier investors.

 

The candidate's primary responsibility will be to manage the support and development of systems that automate internal processes and functions in addition to creating and maintaining layers of visibility through various reporting mechanisms. This role offers the ability to work with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, contribute on company integrations through acquisitions and mergers, plan process flow of new products and initiatives, and make a direct impact on information based company structure.

 

 

Requirements

 

? 3-5 years leading a diverse technical group in building internal systems

? Customer Service oriented

? Strong T-SQL

? Experience using various forms of ETL, such as DTS or SSIS and comfortable working with large amounts of heterogeneous data

? Strong experience creating Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, etc.

? Good financial and data modeling experience

? Ability to communicate and effectively resolve issues between diverse groups (functional users, project team members, IT resources, accounting and upper management)

 

Desired

 

? Business background (Accounting, Finance, Analysis) with BA, MBA or similar degree

? Working with OLAP and data warehousing (SQL 2005 Analysis Services a plus)

? Experience working with SOX compliance

? Good documentation experience
