Responsibilities>

The Business Analyst is the liaison between the Upstream clients and internal IT organizations. This individual works closely with the Upstream business, in particular Technology Services organizations, has a detailed knowledge of their business and strategy, and coordinates projects within IT which add business value. Innovation, critical thinking, teamwork, business partner and communication skills are critical competencies for this position.

? The "face" of IT for the client organizations represented. Partners with client organizations to identify business opportunities and translate them into value added IT deliverables.

? Requires strong knowledge of the clients' business and business process and a general understanding of technology and trends in technology, particularly those supporting World Wide Production. Will attend industry conferences to enhance knowledge of business and technology applications used in the industry and network with peers.

? Liaises with the Internal IT Team ? coordination point for work involving our IT partners, Process and Compliance, Information Delivery, Service Delivery and Architecture groups.

? Facilitates requirement setting and prioritization for system enhancements/projects.

? May manage projects which requires operating in a multi-discipline team environment with business clients, software consultants, and our IT partners.

? Proficiency in written documentation including Project Summaries, Statements of Work and Client User Guides.

? Stay current with technologies that may increase productivity in client base.

Required Skills

?  Bachelors MIS or Business Administration required

?  Computer Proficiencies: Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint. A knowledge of production engineering application suite is a plus.

?  A minimum of five years experience with Information Technology or Upstream business.
