Database Administrator I ? Plantation, FL

Our IT Department is seeking experienced DBA to administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database.  The incumbent will maintain company database systems with a goal of 100% uptime; ensure integrity of systems, data, and backups; respond to employee/clients requests in a timely manner; and optimize system code for peak performance, and meet previously set standards. Implement data access and table maintenance codes; resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Perform a variety of tasks as needed. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, required.

 

IT Quality Control Manager ? Plantation, FL

Our IT Department is seeking dynamic, team-oriented individual for the position of Quality Control Manager to define and implement IT quality assurance practices and procedures.  The incumbent will manage, test, evaluate and validate IT initiatives and identify issues in software or services.  Analyze discrepancies in service or performance and make recommendations for product or service updates.  The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems; extensive knowledge of HP hardware; extensive knowledge of Cisco gear; MCSE certification, CCNP certification and have a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field.

 

NET  Administrator II ? Plantation, FL

Our IT Department is seeking dynamic, team oriented individual for the position of Net Administrator.  The Net Administrator is responsible for monitoring the servers at the data centers to ensure they are operating properly, also to provide programmatic methods of rolling out upgrades to these servers and to suggest ways to improve the environment, and determine when upgrades may be needed for hardware.  The incumbent will provide stats on server health and performance.  Roll out changes to Active Directory.  Roll out changes to server network configs.  Provide Scripts to automate tasks.  Use Monitoring Tools to guarantee network and server uptime.

 

The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with:

?  TCP/IP Protocols

?  WAN/LAN Networking

?  Microsoft Active Directory 2000/2003

?  Windows Scripting Host / Visual Basic or comparable programming languages. 

 

Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

 

System Administrator II ? Plantation, FLTradeStation is seeking a Systems Administrator II to manage and maintain the enterprise computer systems, including electronic mail, file servers, business applications and backup systems.  The incumbent will install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems. Manages application servers such as Microsoft Exchange.  Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users.  Requires a bachelor's degree in the computer field and/or 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
