ResponsibilitiesSupervise 24x7 IT support for multiple international locations and remote workforce and provide 24x7 operations and engineering support for hosted applicationsBuild / Manage IT team responsible for core IT Operations - Network Administration, Network Security, Messaging Systems, Data Center Operations, Storage Management, Disaster Recovery, Helpdesk, Network and Voice services Provide oversight and escalation for problem resolution activities Coordinate procurement of equipment and software to a managed budget Mentor staff skills development and professional growthProvide guidance and leadership in achieving appropriate skill levels for direct reports and their subordinates. This includes technical, project management, and increased knowledge of business unit functions and identify opportunities for increased effectiveness Contribute to developing short and long range IT plans aligned with strategic business objectives. Responsible for overseeing all networking, servers, desktops, and system administration, ensuring uptime and availability Oversee hardware/software purchasing while managing budgets and expenditures.Ensure the smooth operation, availability, scalability, and security of all business information systems and networks. Manage strategic technical vendor relationships. Decision making on introduction of new technologies and product evaluation.Conduct monitoring and incident tracking of evolving security threats and of new methods/technology; coordinate with external security organizations (e.g. CERT). Conduct configuration Management (CM) audits of infrastructure security components. Develop Information Security awareness and training programs for all employees. Establish guidelines, best practices and formal IT Security Policy.

 

Requirements:Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or MIS; and minimum of 10 years experience in technical engineering or systems administration. 7-10 years of IT Operations and staff management experience with hands on architecture, administration and large project management experience Previous experience managing technical teams Experience managing and organizing work and personnel in determining logical solutions to complicated problems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills Extensive expertise in client server applications, project management, systems development and deployment Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex projects; on-time, on-budget delivery of solutions Strong written and verbal communication skills Self motivated and able to work independently as well as cohesively with a team Ability to travel as required Demonstrated experience in system or network administration. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification highly preferred.
