The customer touch go to market marketing and sales group within IPG IT is responsible for developing solutions that enable customers to effectively acquire printing hardware, services and supplies. This technology group develops these solutions that are deployed within the HP infrastructure.

job description

The position is a member of the technical staff (speacialist level) responsible for the development of components in the smart printing services web infrastructure. Working with several other engineers and across organizations, this individual will develop technology to achieve objectives from the business.


 


In addition to responsibility for coding several of the components in the system, this individual will work closely with off-shore developers to transfer support and CPE functions as well as specify and manage some of the work done.

Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or Master's (graduate) degree or Ph.D. (post graduate) degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle; with multiple operating systems,(e.g., Linux, NT); and in using several programming languages, (e.g., Java, C, C++, Perl, etc.); Software development and de-bugging skills in creating web applications (e.g., BEA WebLogic, Struts, JSP, SOAP/web services, etc.)
