Currently we are seeking a system developer to be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Dublin, CA. The candidate will further develop and maintain various applications, and will provide 2nd level internal customer support for software and systems.  System responsibilities will cover one or more of the following business applications: Newsgroup Application, internal and customer facing case tracking applications and other internal developed web applications.

 

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

? Maintains and supports multiple sub-systems for larger systems or maintains smaller systems. Develops new applications conforming to established specifications and requirements.

? Analyzes user requirements for application development and maintenance.

? Proposes solutions for users and management based on user requirements.

? Designs/ architects and documents module or object-level databases, screens, and reports for approval by users and management.

? Defines integration and interface requirements.

? Develops and tests as part of standardized project methodology.

? De-bugs and resolves production problems following standardized procedures.

 

Qualifications:

 

? BS/BSCS with 4+ years IT experience with at least 2 years specific to programming

? Technical Skills: J2EE, Servlets, EJB, JDBC, JavaMail and HTML

? Programming Skills: Java, JSP, JavaScript, Perl,  SQL, Unix Scripting

? Knowledge of Java frameworks is a plus

? Sybase ASE (SQL, Triggers, Stored Procedures, etc.) or comparable Database Experience

? EAServer and/or other Application Server Exposure

? Client Server and/or Web Development experience

? Strong analysis skills

? Strong functional knowledge in customer support applications.

? Application life cycle experience
