Implementation Project Manager

The Implemenation Project Manager is responsible for defining and managing a variety of projects for new and existing DataScan clients. The Implemenation Project Manager's primary scope is new systems implementations, but could include system upgrades, operating system changes, server migrations, circuit/connectivity changes, new versions of DataScan software, disaster recovery planning and testing, or a combination of these projects.

The Implementation Project Manager uses excellent project management and communication skills to facilitate inter-departmental activities.  This involves working with management to define resource needs (associate, equipment, etc.) and scheduling.  The Implementation Project Manager coordinates activities from departments including Product Design, IT, DBA, Support and Technical Services, as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
*Manage project activity in the implementation of financial applications specific to wholesale finance and risk management for banks and captive financial institutions.
*Analyze business processes for the opportunity to implement improvements.

*Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of end user satisfaction.

*Must be able to interact with customers and technical associates, with varying levels of technical skills.

*Responsible for forecasting accuracy relative to project hours and effort.

*Act as primary contact between client and DataScan during the Implementation phase.

*Confirm all hardware and software delivery to client.

*Prepare and deliver Project Charter (scope of work) document to client.

*Produce a project plan for all phases of the project.

*Plan and monitor all implementation activities.

*Monitor the client?s deliverables.

*Report all issues and milestones to management.

*Prepare weekly Status Reports.

*Ensure the coordination of training for all implementation client departments.

*Maintain Project File of all correspondence between client and DataScan.

*Assist the client in developing an integrated test plan.

*Coordinate coverage for production cutover.

*Support client through appropriate month-end processing after production cutover.

*Coordinate handoff to Production Support and Production Services Project Mangers.




Requirements:
*IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND MANDARIN* (speaking and writing)
This position will be based out of our Atlanta office.  (Possible relocation assistance)
Bachelor's degree, business related
2 yrs. project management experience
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to analyze a client's business needs & recommend effective process/technology solutions
Excellent facilitation skills, including the ability to lead a cross-functional team
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent analytical and written communication skills
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Ability to balance multiple projects and conflicting priorities
Ability to travel 35 - 50% domestic and international


Desired Experience:
Broad understanding of Wholesale Finance
Familiarity with relational databases / SQL
General understanding of network infrastructure including WAN, LAN and firewalls systems
