Install Developer
COMSYS LLC is the leading provider of globalization solutions and globalization staffing. We are a nationwide company comprised of 42 offices in the US, Canada and Europe.
DUTIES >> The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing installs for Client Security, premier security product and the associated products during their entire life cycle. The candidate will work with the team to deliver and maintain the product family. The candidate is responsible for producing the design specifications and associated code. They will also help in the creation of development schedules and help prioritize activities. They will work closely with QA to help develop quality products, testable designs, test plans, test scripts and test tools.
* Need the candidate to start as soon as possible.
SKILLS >> 3 - 6 years of related software install design / development experience. BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is necessary. Candidate should have extensive experience, on multiple projects, designing and implementing installs for complex projects using InstallShield and the Windows Installer.
Experience installing and configuring COM servers and Windows services is a must. Should know how to create merge modules, debug install scripts, write custom functions, create patches and updates, and have experience with localization. . A deep understanding of MSI technology and strong programming skills with C++ is a must.
EDUCATION >> BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
