General Job Description (specifics):
Instructional Technology
Conducts training needs assessment and recommends solution to address business needs
Identifies the most effective technology to deliver learning solutions based on business need and capabilities
Consults on selection of new technologies to manage or develop learning solutions
Implements new learning technologies
Instructional Design, Development and Delivery
Plans, conducts and coordinates all aspects of learning strategies, curriculum and course design, development and delivery
Applies appropriate adult learning principles using a wide variety of methods and media to deliver content
Provides sound expertise for designing interactive, activity driven training
Builds productive relationships and establishing rapport
Conducts course evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and provides input for modifications to course content and activities
Manage project work plans and work teams
Performance Consultant
Analyze performance problem and recommends the most appropriate solutions
Strong relationship management skills working in all levels of the organization and cross functionally
Collects, analyzes and reports on program metrics and trends using Six Sigma or equivalent methodology to depict business impact and return on investment
Participates in cross functional teams to support and make recommendations for process and program improvements
Works with management and subject matter experts in developing solutions to performance problems and when needed new courses and curriculum
Works with subject matter experts to continuously improve personal knowledge, skills, and abilities in all areas
Aids in marketing of courses and value delivered to the organization
Assists management and team with other special projects and duties as assigned

May be asked to coach and mentor other junior designers and facilitators

Contacts will be made with all levels of employees within the organization. Routine contact is required with new employees, subject matter experts, and Management.
Must Have Skill sets and yrs of experience:
Bachelor?s degree with a focus in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Performance Improvement, Industrial Psychology or equivalent required, Master Degree in Instructional Technology a plus.
5-10 years training, facilitation, instructional design, and/or consulting experience;
Demonstrated history of experience executing effective programs, implementing learning technology, supported by proven evaluation techniques
Experience in presenting concise summaries to executives clearly presenting problems, solutions and results.
Experience using technology driven Human Resource Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, web-based training authoring tools.
Must be knowledgeable and experienced at applying sounds Instructional Systems Design principles
Skilled technical writer
Must be a team player with the confidence, courage and influencing skills to champion change
Must be highly focused in thought and behavior, anticipating obstacles and opportunities, while maintaining a long-term, big picture view
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Classroom management skills
Knowledge of and proven application of adult learning concepts and principles
Project management and organization skills
Effective public speaking
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices and procedure within training field
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Advanced skills in MSOffice Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint; basic knowledge of Internet
