Would you enjoy sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for Information Technology with our dedicated students?  Thompson Institute - Philadelphia (www.thompson.edu ) has an opportunity for you as a full-time Computer Lab Instructor.  You will prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and work habits required for entry-level positions in Office Technologies that will give them opportunities for career advancement.  You will teach courses in Office Technologies with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Office and Keyboarding.

What you will do:

 Present enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus.Continually promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving and decision-making.Provide the student with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework and projects.Provide students with a complete syllabus containing course objectives on the first day of class.

 

Skills and experience you need:

 Bachelor?s degree or two years experience in Office Technologies with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Office and Keyboarding.Prior career-school experience and teaching experience a BIG PLUSAbility to be highly organized, & detail orientedExcellent persuasive communication skills and Mastery of the English languageAbility to interact effectively and professionally with students, parents, staff and facultyConsistently display the highest levels of integrityExceptional social and customer focused skills
