We are seeking a hands-on senior interactive developer that can manage staff and still roll up their programming sleeves in support of our many projects. Our client work spans healthcare, cause and issues based campaigns, technology and business. We produce web sites, online and viral marketing elements, interactive training, CD ROMs and DVDs and more. The position will demand a self-starter that collaborates effectively with other developers, designers, creative directors, account team partners and clients.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will offer expert skills in technical requirements collection and analysis, a broad scope of web site development experience and great interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients as well as other members of the team. Solid written and oral business communications skills are essential to success in this position as are core hands-on technical skills.
A BS in Computer Science or other related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
Key skills and experience required as a web developer include:
Advanced Cold Fusion and ASP
HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CGI, PERL
DreamWeaver MX
508 Accessibility compliance and validation
Multiple platform (Mac, PC, IE, Firefox, Netscape) and browser compatible code
SQL programming experience
Photoshop and ImageReady (graphic asset slicing and integration for site construction)
Ability to collect and document technical specifications
Programming and technical architecture problem solving skills
Object oriented approach to programming and development
Other skills desired include:
Intermediate to advanced Flash
PHP, XML and SMIL
MySQL
Java
DVD authoring experience
