PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Responsible for architecture strategy of new technology solutions involving enterprise and web applications as well as complex system integration projects. Architect the appropriate solution to support business model. Develop design of individual components and direct the architecture group as well as the development team during development, implementation, database design, coding and code review. Perform hands-on development as required. Provide guidance with regard to tool and environment selection, technology path and integration as well as risk identification and mitigation. Interact and support stakeholders to ensure premium service levels are achieved and business issues resolved while exceeding customer expectations.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Architect, design and develop complex enterprise and web applications, in a service oriented architecture environment. Responsible for translating business and functional requirements into a complete, multi-tier solution, business logic and database. Implement solutions on the Microsoft .NET platform, within an existing application development framework. Provide software development leadership to a project team, including mentoring and code reviews. Provide definition and support during systems development lifecycle.

 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:Define the strategic direction of software development as a whole and provide suggestions to improve the software development processes. Maintain in-depth technical expertise in all areas of Microsoft and open source products, industry trends, competitive offerings, and apply it to the business needs of customers.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:2 years experience with architectural design of large-scale, highly reliable, and highly available enterprise and Internet facing applications using open source and Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server and IIS. 2 years experience developing and leading solution implementations with Microsoft .NET, using a combination of ASP.NET, C#, Flash and SQL Server. 2 years advanced experience using SQL Server, including data modeling, TSQL and Stored Procedures. 2 years HTML, Javascript and CSS for IE and Netscape. Production experience with ASP.NET application supporting > 500 business users. Product development experience. Experience working within an iterative development process desirable.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

 In depth knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework, including ASP.NET.SDLC modeling and CMM service oriented architecture protocols and integration.Object modeling methodologies.Detailed working knowledge of software design techniques, including object-oriented analysis and design techniques.Understanding of business processes and the application of technology to implement them.
