Internet/Intranet Web Developer

Job description/Qualifications:

Our technology manufacturing company is seeking a highly qualified Web Applications Developer/contractor, to assist in planning, implementation, and ongoing support of our web portals, as well as functional enhancements to our corporate website.


Our developers thrive in a high-performance, team-based culture. Positions require several years of experience developing in an Adobe/Macromedia CF based environment with MX experience prefered.

 

A successful employee/contractor must have demonstrated ability to analyze existing code/processes to identify improvements, to conceptualize and develop tools, and effectively release projects into production. Technical Experience:

Expertise in designing, developing, deploying and supporting ColdFusion Applications required.

Experience in developing Java or JSP applications, Content Management, Microsoft .asp / some .net and workflows prefered

 

Minimum of four years experience using ColdFusion to Develop database-driven Web Applications. Minimum of two years experience working with Oracle and SQL.

 

You must have the following:

Macromedia ColdFusion MX 6.1 ? EXPERT

Experience developing and supporting a medium/large eCommerce system

Experience developing dynamic applications using XML/HTML/DHTML/CSS/JavaScript

CF Scripting skills. Experience with Macromedia's development tools such as Dreamweaver MX.

 

Preferred:

Knowledge of ColdFusion architecture, systems set-up, Content Management Systems interfaces

Working knowledge of the Linux environment

Knowledge of at least one additional programming language (PHP, .ASP etc)

Looking for Project based support, providing in-house programmers the ability to flex with changing business needs and commitments.  Prefer flexible off site/on site work location in North Dallas area, Texas

Prefer 1099 but W2 available to the right candidate full time hire also available to the right candidate
