J2EE Development Lead and Analyst Opportunities
The Wellspring Group has been engaged to identify a talented Application Development Lead and a talented Application Analyst for permanent opportunities in Central New Jersey.
The Application Development Lead will be responsible for leading software design and development in a 5-6 member team for content management systems. The incumbent will design and implement in an environment that includes the following systems: Linux, Java, J2EE, WebSphere, Oracle10g, and Verity K2 Search engine.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 8+ years experience
- Expert Java developer
- UML design methodologies
- Web Services (REST, SOAP/WDSL/UDDI, Axis)
- XML
- Significant experience implementing systems with open source tools (Eclipse, log4J, Struts, Junit)
- Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) with Spring
- Oracle PL/SQL, Object to Relational Mapping tools (Hibernate)
- JMS or equivalent messaging experience
- Build / configuration management experience with Ant/CVS
- Unix Scripting (bash and/or shell)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using Verity K2 (or similar) to develop high performance, complex search capabilities preferred
The Application Analyst will be responsible for software design and development of content management systems. The ideal candidate will perform database design/implementation and performance optimization in an environment that includes the following technologies: Linux, Java, J2EE, WebSphere, Oracle10g, and Verity K2 Search engine.
