 RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implementation of J2EE-based application code using Struts with the JBoss application serverDevelop code according to design specifications while meeting tight deadlines Troubleshoot and fix defectsCommunicate design and implementation issues and options with management

 REQUIREMENTS:3 years of Java development experience in a commercial development environment2 years of J2EE experience including servlets, JSPs, JDBC1 year with web development languages (HTML, Javascript)1 year SQL experience with any leading RDBMS is a plusStrong object-oriented experienceExcellent problem solving and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentProduces clean and accurate code, according to set coding conventions and objectiveBachelor?s degree required 

 PREFERENCES:1 year experience with Struts (preferably 1.1 and above)1 year experience with JUnit1 year experience with web services (using Axis for example)Good experience with XML, XSLT, Log4j, AntExperience in both Windows and Unix environmentsGood knowledge of application server technologies and APIs such as for JBoss, Weblogic or WebsphereExposure to an agile iterative development process
