We have a Urgent requirement for JBoss Application Server Administrator.

The primary responsibilities will include working with application developers to troubleshoot issues on pre-production and production systems, research / test / install patches and maintenance, and research/manage/resolve trouble tickets with the vendor.

1. Strong JBoss Application Server technical support experience

2. Strong Java technical support experience

3. Strong Java architect technical support experience

4. Strong Unix / Linux technical support experience

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills

6. Ability to work in a team (coordinate, collaborate, seasoned judgment)

The computing environment is Java, JBoss Application Server, Intel / Linux, Oracle, DB2, MQ, etc. JBoss Application Server administration skills will be key. Java development skills or familiarity with Java and open source frameworks will be helpful when troubleshooting application problems in pre-production and production environments. Knowledge of Netegrity, and Linux is a plus.

Being on-call once every 6 to 8 weeks is a requirement. The schedule can be adjusted to accommodate personal commitments outside of work.

You will be working with experienced Java developers and JBoss Application Server administrators. Therefore, at least several years of experience is required. Since you will be working with a variety of people from several different organizations, excellent written and oral communication skills are required. The ability to work in a team (coordinate, collaborate, seasoned judgment) is also a requirement. This is a large and rapidly growing computing environment with many important business applications being developed to run on this platform. This assignment will be challenging and rewarding.
