SofTec I.T. has a premier client in Harrisburg, PA seeking someone with the following skills and work experience:

 

 

Client in Pennsylvania has new opening for a JD Edwards OneWorld Programmer/Developer. This position is responsible for analyzing business processes and programming requirements including specifying, designing, developing, implementing, supporting and maintaining software programs, reports and forms relative to enterprise business applications. This position is also responsible for first and second tier support for user problem resolution. This position will coordinate with other IT functions and will be required to occasionally travel to operating locations on an as-needed basis, and will be responsible for user training support. Successful candidate is expected to be able to demonstrate specific technical skills in the area of the application and additional experience in related information systems, general database development and administration, a strong appreciation of related IT hardware and infrastructure services, and a personal proactive approach to maintaining skills to a current level. Strong interpersonal skills are essential and an ability to communicate effectively with non IT personnel in problem resolution and training. Prefer B.A. degree, five years minimum experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience in a role supporting enterprise related systems. Strong knowledge of manufacturing applications is a plus. This position requires experience with the technical support of J.D. Edwards OneWorld and/or EnterpriseOne applications. Prefer candidates in Pennsylvania or immediate surrounding area but will consider others.
