Hot contract opportunity for senior Java software engineer!

OVERVIEW:

Your primary responsibility for this position will be to develop small portals within the larger, enterprise system. This will involve enabling applications to display within these portals, as well as developing some of the applications seen through the Vignette system. This is a new implementation of Vignette, so this is a high profile project. Our ultimate goal is to consolidate a variety of existing applications within the Vignette Portal tool where they can be accessed by both internal and external customers.

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years related work experience
Solid skills with Java, JSP, and JavaScript
Extensive experience with Vignette
Proficiency with XML, DHTML, HTML, and CSS
Familiar with WebSphere and/or similar development tools
Experience developing JavaScript that connects to an Oracle database (9i and 10g preferred)
BS in CS or related field highly preferred
