Java Programmers

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in performing a variety of mid-level development activities in an environment that uses Java and Oracle application based services.  Candidate will have strong communications skills; strong desire to learn and be part of a smart, agile team and the ability & willingness to learn/teach others is a core competency.

 

REQUIRED

* 4-year computer science degree
* A working proficiency with Oracle 9i/10g suite of enterprise tools is required
* At least 1 year of experience with BEA Weblogic 7/8
* At least 3 years of software development experience in a government or commercial environment
* At least 1 year of experience in object oriented analysis, design, and development
* At least 1 year of experience in web development and web technologies- HTTP, HTML, XML, XSL, Web Services, SSL/ASO, must have EAI and transport experience
* At least 1 year of experience being in and integrating with an Oracle database environment.
* Demonstrable experience with OC4J, J2EE & Java implementations within Oracle
* Ability to troubleshoot complex system problems

 

DESIRED

* Experience developing for the Microsoft Server platform and or Unix related technologies is a plus.
* Knowledge of data migration; data warehouse extraction, transformation and loading (ETL); application development for transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) business applications, a plus.
* Experience working closely with customers and the ability to work as an effective member of an integrated government contractor team a plus.
* Experience with Microsoft Visio.
