JobBOSS Independent Consultant

Exact Software, an international provider of ERP software to the manufacturing industry is looking for an Independent Contractor to work with us as an Application Implementation Consultant in the Boston, MA area supporting the Northeastern region of the U.S.

 

This individual will work with new JobBOSS customers, installing JobBOSS software products, developing and deploying detailed implementation plans, integrating customer business processes with software functionality, and training end users.  Application Consultants also support existing JobBOSS customers with on-site assessments, version upgrades, database conversions, and expansion for new users or additional sites.  Application Consultants are expected to develop lasting relationships with the customers they serve, and proactively sell consulting services back into the install base.

 

Our requirements for Independent Contractors are a bachelor?s degree in Business or Computer Applications with a Manufacturing emphasis and a minimum of 5 years of implementation consulting experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment. Other requirements are leadership skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, superior end-user training skills, and the ability to identify/define and solve needs/problems.  Candidate must also possess technical expertise with Access and SQL databases, and installing applications in a SQL server environment.  Demonstrated troubleshooting skills are preferred.  Prefer a strong knowledge of best manufacturing practices and JobBOSS software.
