Position Description

 

Lionbridge is currently recruiting for two Junior Software Engineers in its Waltham, MA headquarters.

 

The Jr. Software Engineers will be responsible to:

 Design, develop, debug, and deploy new features and functions as well as enhance and maintain existing capabilities under the supervision of a senior engineer Design, specify, and implement systems using C++, Visual Basic for applications, .NET or Java. Work closely with other Engineering staff and senior engineers to ensure the highest level of technical quality, security, scalability, interoperability and stability in all products that are developed.

 

Required Skills/Background

 Master's degree in Computer Science/Technology. 3+ years of comprehensive experience with g++ and the STL, as well as system programming with Linux, as well as comprehensive programming knowledge with  Visual C++ and MFC. Experience with Internet scripting languages including JavaScript, PERL, DHTML, and HTML. Experience with Visual Basic for Applications, as well as with the Microsoft Office file formats, especially the RTF format and the Office XML format. Familiarity in developing three-tier web applications systems using C++. Applications analysis and design  Ability to produce detailed requirements and design documents.

 

Education/Certification Required

 Master?s Degree in Computer Science / Technology
