Junior Java Developer

Junior J2ME Developer The J2ME Developer will be a key team member responsible for migrating applications and games to new devices. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with build automation, ANT and Java development.


Responsibilites:

Port existing applications and games to new phones.

Work with build scripts and build automation to compile applications.

Modify existing applications to fit new screen sizes, phone specifications and platforms.

Optimize applications for distribution size and performance.

 



 

Skills Needed:

General knowledge of Java (J2SE).

A deep knowledge of ANT, and compiling Java.

The ability to work independently on projects to their completion.

A self starter who can solve problems through research and experimentation.

A fast learner who can quickly come up to speed on mobile technologies.

J2ME experience is preferred, but not required.
