L2 Software Engineer, Entry Level

This is an entry level position. Candidates must possess strong abilities to: troubleshoot various applications and server issues that are reported as well as test and resolve problems with Enterprise level customers. Candidates must possess: BS in Computer Science (or equivalent degree), possess proven abilities to read and interpret C/C++ and Java code, must be able to analyze dumps and/or trace information, possess excellent teaming skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, have the abilities to write root cause analysis, document results of debugging and testing, have abilities to push for the inclusion of major fixes and new features in our products, use Causal analysis, process evaluation and defect prevention. Candidates must understand, efficiently execute, and recommend new approaches to streamline procedures. Major Field of Study: Computer Engineering Computer information Systems Database knowledge and concepts, Application development methodology, C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, Lotus Script, TCP/IP communications, protocol stacks, Windows, Linux, Client-Server Architecture, LDAP, DB2, Problem Solving and analytical skills, Written & Oral communication skills.
