Lawson System Analyst

The systems analyst participates in all phases of the systems life cycle, although to varying degrees. The systems analyst works with the business user to define business needs and devises and designs computer system requirements for solutions of to business problems. S/he formulates procedures for their solutions. The systems analyst plays a major role in the development and implementation of maintenance and/or enhancements as well as new systems. The systems analyst is challenged with designing appropriate application systems structures, which will provide a solid foundation for well-written and reliable application programs. S/he also plans, scripts and performs system testing to ensure that delivered products meets business needs and perform as expected based on business requirements. Qualifications :
Minimum Educational Requirements: B.S. or equivalent experience. 4 year college degree preferred or equivalent computer skills/information systems on the job training. Minimum Experience Requirements: -4 or more years experience as a systems analyst with Lawson financials (v 8.0 or higher). First-hand experience Grants Management preferred. A strong understanding of business processes in applying for, managing and supporting Medical Grants.
