Lead Business Systems Analyst/ Project Manager
Founded in 1948, Robert Half International Inc. is the world's leading specialized staffing firm. We are currently looking for a Lead Business Systems Analyst to fill a key role here at our Corporate Headquarters in Pleasanton, CA.
The Lead Business Systems Analyst will work in a functional capacity in our Field Accounting Protiviti Business Systems Department, supporting our Time & Expense, Projects/Contracts, AR/Billing and other applications. The selected individual will serve as the team lead by providing leadership and direction during all phases of the project life-cycle. Activities include, but are not limited to project and resource planning, requirements gathering, analysis and design, user acceptance testing, training, communication, deployment and support. The lead will be responsible for owning and managing complete business systems or functional projects from end-to-end. Provide functional support of the PeopleSoft ESA production systems, investigate and resolve complex user issues & queries. Manage medium to large projects and initiatives.
Design complex business and system process flow diagrams that demonstrate as-is and to-be models. Analyze business and system processes and suggest process improvements. Re-engineer and enhance current processes & systems.
Will collaborate with IT resources to resolve complex system and business issues. Develops and conducts user acceptance testing related to complex system bugs, upgrades and enhancements. Coordinates, monitors and supports the activities of cross functional groups, Protiviti field representatives and others involved in various application and/or business related projects. Trains and mentors systems analysts and associate system analysts. Presents summary of analysis, data and findings to senior/executive management.
Requirements for this position include a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, CIS or Finance. Accounting and/or Computer Science coursework or experience is required. Experience with large ERP applications, in particular PeopleSoft is desired. Experience with multi-national organizations desired. 5+ years of experience with system and business analysis, requirements gathering and design. Indebt knowledge with Microsoft Windows applications including: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Power Point. Knowledge of Microsoft Project software is helpful. PMP Certification is preferred. 8+ years of business experience, with demonstrated leadership, project management or managerial skills. Full cycle ERP implementation experience in a consulting capacity is desired. General knowledge of SQL, and understanding of or experience using relational and multi-dimensional database structures is helpful.
