Logistics Support

Job Summary Assist Logistics Department with various clerical assignments, and participates in direct customer service.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

A. Issues CO's in Syteline.
B. Responsible for logging in all hub accruals in Excel.
C. Compute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
D. Tracks drop shipments to assure invoicing occurs.
E. Manages important customer filing.
F. Communicate with customers, employees and LFE/LFD to answer questions, disseminate or explain information.

III. Minimum Job Requirements:

A. Work Experience:
2 years of clerical experience and experience in customer service. Experience working with a freight forwarder a plus.

B. Education and Training:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) or equivalent.
C. Skills

1. Proficient with Excel including formulas
2. Effective oral and written communication skills
3. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines (operate under pressure)
4. Ability to use a personal computer, telephone, copy machine, calculator and fax machine
5. Excellent customer service skills
6. Excellent organizational skills
7. May need to work OT on weekends and holidays
8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
