MS Dynamics/Great Plains Technical Analyst

WebMD, a division of Emdeon Corporation is a fast-growing organization.  We are actively seeking a technical analyst to support a mid-size ERP implementation to support Financial and HR processes, both in production and for future capability development.

This person, reporting to the project manager in charge of Production Support will have the following responsibilities:Analyze and resolve application/system platform issuesCoach usersFulfill ad-hoc and permanent report requests (via report writer and Smart Lists)Collect/understand and document business requirementsMake configuration and/or coding changes to existing windows/tablesDesign, develop, and test future capabilitiesParticipate in user reviews/design sessions as necessarySupport interfaces to other systemsSupport special projects as necessary

Candidate with the following experience will be considered:3-5 years development/technical support experience with MS Dynamics GP/Great Plains (Financial and preferably HR Modules)Deep understanding of Financial processes/general accounting processes/system processing (AR, GL, AP, etc.)Well spoken, enthusiastic and customer-focusedStrong critical thinking/problem analysis capabilitiesDemonstrated experience with structured methodology/processes:  System Development, Testing, Change Control, Issues ManagementFamiliarity with extracting data from relational databases/writing financial reportsKnows Excel, Powerpoint, MS WordExperience with some or all of the following technologies:MS Dynamics GPDexterity.NETSQL Server.NET DevelopmentMS Business Portal/SharepointTerminal ServerCaptaris WorkFlowLDAPFTPInfopathWeb Development -- HTML/ASP/PHP
