MS SQL 2005 DBA / Developer

Responsibilities

The DBA will work closely with development teams and be responsible for physical database design and implementation as well as performance tuning, assisting writing complex stored procedures and optimizing code. The DBA will work closely with application architects to design and implement system interfaces. The qualified person will be expected to enhance database backup and restore procedures, monitoring procedures, database development and deployment standards, and other database related areas as needed.

 

Requirements Five years of direct experience as a MS-SQL Server DBA/SA A mastery of MS-SQL Server stored Three or more years of database design/architecture experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.Strong knowledge and hands on experience with DTSThree or more years database development experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.Knowledge of the .NET platform and services oriented architecture is preferredData modeling, query design and optimization, stored proceduresDemonstrated relationship management skills Promote/migrate SQL-Server objects from development to production instancesAbility to understand large data models quicklyExposure to SQL 2005 preferredBSCS Degree MCDBA preferred
