Feldco is seeking a SQL Database Developer with experience in systems development and maintenance to join our growing team of programmers at our Norridge, IL location for a ONE YEAR CONTRACT-TO-HIRE position. 

 

The primary objective of this engagement is to move much of our Access VBA modular/transaction code into SQL server while utilizing SQL features to make enhancements to our processing and reporting capabilities.

 

Responsibilities include:Analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain complex database programs and subsystems Perform all necessary steps required to design, code, and test such programs and successfully move programs into production. Respond to help desk user requests and participate in user training courses Performs assignments under direct supervision Some web programming

Technical Qualifications include:MS-SQL Certified candidates will be considered over non-certified candidates 3 to 5 years experience developing Access and SQL databases Proficient with Microsoft Access / VBA and VB scripts, modules, classes Microsoft SQL Server 2005 administrative capability Microsoft SQL Server 2000-2005 programming capability, including:Create tables, stored procedures, views, scripts, triggers Log shipping, DTS, T-SQL and transaction shipping Database mirroring and backups Reporting and Analysis services
