Marketing Managers (2)

We are ready to hire two Marketing managers. Overall responsibilities to develop and grow sales and market share for our solutions. These positions will encompass the full range of typical outbound marketing activities, with an emphasis on direct and indirect field sales support. Individuals should be capable of acting as the organizational focal point for their markets and/or solutions. The Associate Marketing Manager will have at least 3 years in software marketing coming from Program Management, Field Marketing or Marketing Communications and have excellent writing skills. They will be charged with sales tool development and sales support. The Senior Marketing Manager should have same skills plus more Product Marketing and experience with Pricing Models.
Overall Responsibilities
1) Develop / refine go-to-market strategy for solutions
* Develop deep understanding of target market
* Create and maintain segmentation characteristics with which to prioritize target customers and identify needs
* Devise and support execution of strategies to reduce sales cycles and increase adoption
* Create appropriate licensing and pricing strategies to support market strategy
* Develop appropriate partnerships to support delivery of solutions
2) Provide exceptional field sales support to Sales organization
* Serve as solution and marketing expert
* Actively participate as a member of deal team as needed
* Develop and maintain robust sales tools
* Assist with RFP responses
3) Develop and execute marketing plan
* Develop positioning and branding objectives, identify challenges
* Create storyboards and choose tactics to achieve objectives
* Execute tactics - write press releases, develop web seminars, engage media, etc.
* Measure and report on all results

* Eagerness to travel 20% of time, primarily to work with customers/prospects, industry associations, & partner organizations
Experience:
* 3-5 years experience in outbound marketing / product marketing
* Experience and comfort in rapidly evolving work environment
* Experience in Enterprise, BPM, CRM, Business Intelligence, or Supply Chain software strongly preferred
* Experience with hosted software business model preferred
* Experience with the foodservice and/or hospitality industries a plus
Education:
Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred
