Marketing Writer/Editor/Copywriter (135827-636)

We are seeking a creative Marketing Writer/Editor/Copywriter who can develop marketing concepts and write clear, persuasive, and relevant copy for a variety of advertising and marketing collateral and internal material.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 * Write software product marketing materials, including case studies, white papers, articles, promotional pieces, and presentations
 * Work effectively with other writers, graphic designers, Web developers, product managers, and expert reviewers to produce accurate and informative content
 * Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and efficiency when writing, revising, editing, or proofreading copy
 * Conform to our corporate style guide and editorial standards
 * Meet all deadlines, fulfill scheduling commitments, and consistently achieve quick turnarounds in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
 * Work well in a team environment
 * Demonstrate strategic thinking related to the expansion of new content

Required Skills:


 * Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, technical communications, or related field
 * Minimum of three years of experience as a marketing writer/editor with experience in proofreading
 * Knowledge of high-tech and software industry required
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and thorough knowledge of grammar
 * Strong understanding of the importance of branding and of developing a voice for a product or service
 * Demonstrated project and time management skills
 * Knowledge of page layout and graphic design software, especially InDesign & QuarkXPress is a plus
 * Demonstrated strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
