Messaging Administrator

The Messaging Exchange Administrator is responsible for the administration of Lotus Notes and Exchange. The Messaging Administrator will manage e-mail servers and support mail clients in four offices across the country. Other responsibilities include: establishing and enforcing messaging standards, policies and procedures; setting up new user accounts; managing access control; maintaining communication groups; and troubleshooting server and client problems both in-house and remotely.

Requirements:
' 5 years Exchange administration experience
' 5 years Lotus Notes/Domino administration experience R5,R6
' CLP certification (Certified Lotus Professional)
' Experience with W2000 and W2003 network environment, including server administration, security, and hardware/software
configuration
' Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP and web servers
' Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and organizational skills
' Superior customer service skills for interacting with users
' Project management oriented with ability to lead project planning through implementation
' Strong written and verbal skills and comfortable preparing documentation of Messaging procedures and guidelines

Plus:
' Experience migrating Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange

Performance Expectations:

We are expecting this individual to use previous experience and knowledge to manage Exchange and Domino servers for the Laureate enterprise. Primary project will be migrating four offices (Baltimore, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Phoenix) from complex Lotus Notes infrastructure to Exchange environment.
