Messaging Architect

Messaging Architect Description: Our fortune 500 client requires candidate's who will be key member of the Messaging Product team and participate in their ongoing projects and efforts to support their current Lotus Notes environment. Candidate must have the skills and knowledge to be a Lead Architect, and must have demonstrated years of experience. The successful candidate will help define the global messaging strategy.


Candidates will be evaluated on the following: 1) Educational Background. 2) Work History and Experience. 3) Expected fit within the team.


Work History/Experience/Skills/Abilities: Need to have a thorough understanding of Domino Infrastructure and the Domino Directory. Domino Server Admin skills including User maintenance, Address book Directory maintenance, Performance. onitoring/enhancement, Server/database/web security, Mail routing, and Database Administration. Lotus formula language and LotusScript skills. Working knowledge of networking and internet protocols. Experience with technical writing and documentation editing and maintenance.


Specific Skills/Abilities: Problem solving and analytical skills. Technical knowledge, specific to Lotus Notes. Working with cross-functional teams. Ability to participate in multiple projects and interact with a number of varied teams. Well-versed in MS Office applications. Must be results-oriented and process minded. Proactive and effective communication skills.


Expected fit within the team. Hard working with a sense of work-ethic. An individual who can both take initiative as well as follow direction when provided.





Requirements:
Candidate is required to combine multiple technologies to provide alternative physical solutions. Performs analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design client/server open solutions. Candidate should understand various tools and technologies on the market and their appropriate usage. Candidate exhibits ability to design an entire system configuration including hardware, software, and communications. Candidate is able to lead a tool evaluation effort, including the definition of the evaluation criteria, identification of tools to be evaluated, and the actual evaluation. Has worked on various platforms, including mainframes, minis and micros. Able to define a total disaster recovery plan and present the customer with various options. Able to work with and manage multiple suppliers. Able to perform as a Team Leader when necessary.
