Metadata Manager
INNOLOG, a preeminent logistics solutions federal government contractor, is seeking a full-time, Metadata Manager for the O?Fallon, Illinois area.
The candidate will design and implement a metadata management strategy, integrating metadata from numerous COTS tools including Business Objects, Informatica, DataFlux, Erwin, System Architect, etc. The candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the Informatica Metadata Manager tool. The candidate will also be responsible for designing the front end display and access method for users.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Experience: Strong understanding of data modeling, general understanding of data warehouse methodologies, experience implementing a metadata management strategy, and experience in Web based application development using html, JavaScript, and Java. Must have strong written and oral skills, strong organizational skills, and strong teamwork, problem solving, and customer interaction skills. Must have working knowledge of UNIX operating systems, and distributed systems concepts.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Desired Skills:
- COTS integration methodologies.
- Related domain knowledge (transportation/logistics).
All applicants must be able to pass a government security clearance background investigation.
