Responsibilities
This position manages a group that provides second and third level Database Administration (DBA) support for specific off-the-shelf Database Management Systems (DBMS), including Oracle and MarkLogic.
Qualifications
1. Proven management, technical and leadership skills
2. Proven successful track record in project leadership
3. Versatile communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues and/or concepts to technical and non-technical people
4. 5 or more years experience in an IT technical role with 2 or more years experience in a team leadership or management role in an IT organization
5. 2 or more years experience with DBMS technologies such as Oracle, MarkLogic, SQLServer, etc. with working knowledge of database concepts, database performance & tuning, and backup & recovery strategies in a production environment.
6. Knowledge of Elsevier and/or LexisNexis applications, environments and processes is a bonus

The following major/degree is preferred for the position:Computer Science
The preferred level of education for this position is Bachelor's Level Degree.
The preferred years of experience for this position is 5 years.
