Mid-Level ASP.NET C# Developer

Myriad Systems is a leading provider of print and mail and online document presentation solutions for financial institutions in the Midwest. Our company processes, prints, and mails financial statements and notices as well as archives them for online viewing and printing and for incorporation into standalone archival products. We need a solid developer of web applications in C# and ASP.NET to enhance and extend our enterprise products in an application service provider model.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND THE WORK:
1. Maintain and enhance existing ASP.NET applications to incorporate customer requests, new user interface revisions, and extend the scalability of the solution
2. Assist in the design of new applications by collaborating with internal customer-interfacing staff, software architects, and database technicians on architectural design issues and setting project timelines
3. Implement new enterprise software applications alone or in a small project team within predefined deadlines
4. Perform unit and integration testing on new and existing applications to identify and remove program errors and scalability constraints
5. Create technical documentation in Word and Visio to describe systems, their data structures, their data flows, and their processes

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Two years prior experience in full-time ASP.NET development in C# in all areas of the system development life cycle
2. A bachelor degree in CS or MIS, or two years additional experience to compensate
3. Extensive knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, the .NET framework, HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, and W3C compliance standards
4. Experience building 2-Tier and 3-Tier applications
5. Two years prior experience programming against SQL Server 2000 using ADO.NET with ASP.NET, including familiarity with the SQL Server client tools

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS:
1. Experience with AJAX frameworks and implementations
2. Experience with XML Web Services, including WSE 3 and DIME
3. Experience with unit testing toolkits, including NUnit and NUnitASP
4. Experience developing web user controls in a portal environment, including SharePoint or DotNetNuke, across a web farm
5. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services

1. Base salary commensurate with experience, starting at $40,000
