Our client is a provider of industry-leading communication offerings with an emphasis on products and services for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, is seeking experienced software engineers to assist in the development of embedded mobile communication applications. They are a very successful company and offer excellent benefits.

Responsibilities: Work with product management, partners, and customers to design innovative mobile text and audio/video communication applications Provide expertise and design for vertically integrated mobile architectures Develop mobile applications using object-oriented approaches in Java Follow engineering best practices in a team environment using agile methods to develop high-quality products

Qualifications: BS degree in CS, EE, or equivalent 5-7+ years of experience developing state-of-the-art embedded mobile or related applications using C++ and Java Proficient in object-oriented design and application development Experience designing and developing graphical user interfaces (GUI) Possess good communication skills and be eager to work in a team environment with other dedicated engineers Knowledge of cell network protocols and technology Experience developing text and/or audio/video communication systems for wireless solutions Experience with media deliver over cell networks and associated issues Familiarity with SIP, H.323, and related communication protocols and codecs
