MULTI-INT SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/PROGRAMMER

The Multi-INT Software Developer will be responsible for advanced computer programming, data analysis, and software development in data collection systems for government geospatial intelligence applications. Duties will include involvement with other subject matter experts who gather, analyze, and formally represent domain knowledge.  Duties may also involve leading small project teams and coordinating the efforts of team-members.  These applications will help intelligence analysts process and manage information related to national security.  This position is located in Reston, VA and nationally.

A minimum of a Bachelor degree in one of the following or a closely-related discipline, with a desired emphasis in Remote Sensing and/or Computer Science:  Geography (physical, demographic), Civil Engineering (photogrammetry, geodesy), Computer Science, Information Science, Geology, Hydrology, Meteorology, Cartography, Mathematics, Statistics, or Cognitive Science (perception and visual communication).

Demonstrated proficiencies in: programming in ENVI/IDL code, C, C++, ORACLE, and FORTRAN code.  Candidate must have an advanced computer programming, data analysis, and software development skills.  Also, an understanding of advanced spectral systems, principles, and technologies. Minimum of 2 years experience in subject matter.
