Job Title:    .NET Architect

Classification: Full-Time - Exempt Position reporting to the

  VP of Software Development   

I. Job Responsibilities:

Duties include software architecture, software design, and developing associated documentation. This position is will be responsible for the middle-tier / business logic architecture, and work in development teams to create the product using MS .NET Framework.

 

II. Qualifications / Experience:Experience in all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, code, test and integration in one or more of the languages listed below and have a good understanding of object oriented software development.Highly motivated individual with a strong background in middle-tier design is required Must demonstrate versatility, motivation, and a proven interest in learning new conceptsAbility to implement core pieces of program functionalityAptitude to direct and mentor other developersInterest and ability to break down larger problemsExcellent verbal communications skills coupled with the emotional maturity to work with others in a deadline oriented  atmosphere Must have skills in Development, Software Design, UML Design and Middle-tier Design

 

The Candidate will have a thorough understanding of the following intranet application technologies and methodologies: C# Visual Studio 2003 / 2005 .NET Framework 1.1 / 2.0HTML/DHTML  Win-API    COM InteropXML/XSL Transact-SQL     HTTP protocolMulti-tier architecture SOA Web Services

III. Education:BS in a related discipline At least 5-7 years of experience in large scale software development and architecture.

 

IV. Physical Demands:

May sit or stand as needed; May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials.  Proper lifting techniques required. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Some travel may be required.
