POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior .NET Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, and integration of software applications. This involves developing a complex C# .NET Smart Client application that interacts primarily with SQL databases. The position requires an expert, enthusiastic, hands-on role architecting, designing, and building a suite of Windows-based business applications that will scale as appropriately to meet continuing business requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Code and unit test applications that support the requirements defined by users, product managers, and analysts.
? Develop database schema design and tuning with SQL Server.
? Provide development lead with work estimates and participate in scope setting.
? Create technical design documents from functional requirements/specifications.
? Communicate and defend design, requirements, feature set, functionality and/or limitations of systems.

REQUIREMENTS
? Solid working knowledge of .NET, SQL Server, Windows, and development practices for working with and leading team of developers. Specific technical skills:
o Object Oriented Programming: 7+ years
o Design Pattern Practices: 5+ years
o Windows Forms /.NET Framework: 4+ years
o C#: 4+ years
o Smart Client Architecture: 2+ years
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
? Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities appropriately.
? Highly motivated and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure quality.

PREFERENCES
? Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) or Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) certification preferred.
? Experience with Infragistics NetAdvantage Windows Forms components.
