.NET Middle-Tier Developer

DESCRIPTIONThe Rapid Application Development team is looking for a C# middle-tier and component developer.  This position is responsible for designing and implementing middle-tier logic, object models, and data models for multiple applications.  While working with the team, the candidate will gather requirements, create specifications, design and develop components/stored procedures, and perform unit testing.  The environment is fast paced and the team is hard working.  Developers are encouraged to use their creative ability to develop a solution.  REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experiences. Solid knowledge in relational database design using MS SQL Server 2000/2005Experience with SQL and stored proceduresHave used Enterprise Services to host componentsHave designed stateless componentsHave implemented .NET Remoting using both channels and formattersHave created .NET web services that expose COM, .NET, and database functionality to multiple consumers including relational databases and other technologiesVisual Studio 2003/2005 and the .NET Framework 1.1/2.0:Multi-tier developmentGlobal Assembly usageDebugging applications by attaching to processesVery fluent in C#Extensive knowledge of ADO.NETExperience with version control tools such as Visual Source Safe and/or Team SystemsKnowledge of Windows 2003 Server configuration.Distributed N-tier Systems using Microsoft technologiesCreated Windows ServicesExperienced in full life cycle of software development; requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation
