Job Description

MTI is seeking a .NET Software Developer to work closely with senior developers in the development and maintenance of its custom speech solutions. The ideal candidate has strong .NET skills, the ability to learn quickly, and experience with or desire to learn speech technologies. This job provides in-depth experience in the burgeoning field of speech applications and technologies.

 

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain cutting-edge speech applications in VoiceXML and SALT using .NETPerform analysis and tuning of web-based and speech applicationsDevelop web-based services and Windows form applications in a .NET environmentMaintain and enhance existing applications and utilitiesDevelop technical documentation for the design and coding of applicationsDesign procedures for and assist with quality assuranceAssist with CRM and technical support for internal and external customersLearn to design solutions independentlyWork toward Microsoft Speech Server certification

 

Experience0-3 years of work experience in programming in a .NET environmentBachelors degree in Computer Science

 

SkillsStrong grounding in .NET (VB.NET, ASP.NET)Ready to hit the ground runningAbility to take responsibility for tasks, start to finishGoal- and deadline-orientedTesting & QA experienceSQL Server experienceMust be organized and detail-orientedMust work well in a team environmentMust have solid oral and written communication skillsProject Management experience desiredLinux skills desiredExperience developing in a portal environment, such as DotNetNuke or Plone, desired
