Navision / Applications Developer

Job Description:
Navision Developer with knowledge and experience to assist a high growth company with custom in-house and other production application development. Candidate must be able to manage several projects at the same time and provide a high degree of proficiency and the ability to complete projects on schedule with a make-it-happen work ethic. Experience must include: Navision, BizTalk, SQL, and EDI technologies. Specific experience in Cold Fusion, .net, ASP, ASP.net and/or PowerBuilder are a plus.

Responsibilities will include Navision application support and development, good documentation skills, coding of programs and testing applications. Proven track record of providing analytical skills in facilitating requirements gathering, technical specifications, development, testing and implementing business systems. Candidate will engage with users, business analysts and/or management in order to determine business and/or technical requirements; develop functional specifications and prepare cost and time estimates with the support of senior team members. Mandatory 2-3 years experience in MS SQL, T-SQL, ability code and maintain stored procedures, create and maintain DTS packages, and an excellent knowledge of relational databases and Microsoft environments. 

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required in Computer Science or related field.

* Significant experience (3-4 years) in all phases of applications software development.maintenance life cycles.

* Demonstrated excellence in technical skills and technical knowledge required in one or more higher level programming languages, including Microsoft Development environment as well as SQL, relational databases, and object-oriented programming techniques.

* Strong skill required in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions.
