,Net Software Architect - Must already be cleared!

L3/Titan Group has an exciting opportunity for a .NET Software Architect.

The .Net Software Architect should have the expertise to plan and document a .NET software architecture that will guide the program's implementation of .NET technology over several software releases. The software architect shall guide the creation and maintenance of common component prototypes using one or more .NET languages (e.g., VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET). The .NET architect shall have a broad background in .NET, either through formal study, practical application experience, or both. The software architect shall provide matrix support to one of the software product families (Back Office, Mobilization, Safety, Personnel, and Force Management), concentrating on planning the architecture migration for the assigned product family. Domain expertise in one of the existing product families is desired but not required. The software architect shall be familiar with CMM Level 3 practices. The software architect shall follow the prime contractor's peer review process for documentation, code, and artifacts developed in support of this task. The software architect shall follow checklists and standard practices guidelines as defined in the AITS Standards and Procedures Manual.
The software architect shall work as part of a team with people with many differing skills and interests. The software engineer shall report to the .NET Architecture Team Lead.
The ultimate customer for this product is the Advanced Information Technology Services (AITS) Project Office and the National Guard and US Army Reserves in the 54 states and territories.
 (a) Minimum required:
DoD Secret Clearance.
BS in Computer Science or related discipline
10+ years experience in software development in a Windows network environment
Broad background in .NET through formal study and hands-on experience
Direct experience in establishing .NET frameworks for systems composed of multiple applications
Prior experience migrating a client server application to a web based .NET technology
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003,VB.NET, C#.NET, and ASP.NET
Experience in developing and maintaining Use Cases
Familiar with CMM Level 3 practices
Demonstrated ability to work in an integrated team environment with the prime contractor and government staff to meet strict project schedules and also the ability to work independently with a software development team to accomplish goals
Demonstrated self starter (initiative)
Excellent presentation skills
Experience interacting directly with customers and using a trouble ticketing system to track issues
