Network Systems Administrator

In this highly visible role as Network Administrator, the candidate will support the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and administration of Micron’s design center network environment. Network Administrator will specialize in LAN and/or WAN hardware and configuration, user support, performance management, security and tuning of networks. The team member who fills this role will take on independent projects and rely less on guidance from more experienced team members. The team member is expected to provide leadership and training to other team members and support groups. Position will require some system manager and Field Service Engineering work.




- Typically requires position include 3-5 years experience as a Network Administrator


- In depth knowledge of multiple protocols. A detailed understanding of the OSI model and SNMP


- Able to interpret the output of a network analyzer. Able to describe the function of a routing protocol.


- Demonstrated ability to manage moderately complex projects


- Possesses a track record of successful project accomplishment


 


Education: 


BS in Computer Science, or related engineering degree
