Novell Network Engineer

Duties:

 

Function as the Novell Engineer for a complex networking environment, taking a lead role in maintaining performance of the client?s Novell environment to enhance the stability and uptime of the servers.

 

 

Experience:

 

Applicant must be a Certified Novell Engineer with expert knowledge of Novell Netware 6 and 6.5. Applicant must also be familiar with GroupWise 6.5, 7.0, 7.1

 

- Minimum 7 years experience in IT with strong background with Novell and Messaging System

- Experience using GroupWise 6.5, 7.0, 7.1
- Experience with TCP/IP, SMTP, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Content Filtering, E-Mail Security
- Network OS Experience: Novell NetWare and Windows Server
- Self motivated and able to handle multiple projects & work requests simultaneously.
- Technical aptitude / ability to learn & implement new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team setting.
- Excellent customer service and vendor management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
